2025/2 He is a physician; he has been involved in clinical work, teaching and research at the Semmelweis University, the Utrecht University and the National Institute for Medical Rehabilitation, and was director general of the latter for 15 years. He participated in preparatory work of the ICF and lead the Hungarian adaptation. He taught at ELTE Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education and its predecessor from 1976 to 2020.
