The use of MONDO in schools

MONDO was developed by the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union to support children with disabilities to learn about their rights. The cards show concrete situations providing specific messages about what to do in certain situations. The 10 topics are closely related to school subjects. Special educators think that MONDO is a useful tool to prepare for classes. MONDO provides a complex framework that supports educators’ legal awareness which is the basis for conveying knowledge, skills and attitudes that are necessary for awareness-raising.
