Lesley is an expert on the Americans with Disabilities Act and disability policy in the United States. She is a member of the Great Lakes ADA Center’s Trainer Leadership Team and is the chairperson of the US city of Bloomington, Indiana’s Council for Community Accessibility. Lesley has lived experience with disability; she has worked on behalf of students with disabilities in higher education institutions; and she has spoken at international conferences on disability and inclusion topics. She currently serves as the Vice President for North American Partnerships at AccessAble, a UK company focused on providing users with detailed accessibility information. Lesley formerly served as the Assistant Dean for International Programs at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and oversaw Indiana University and ELTE’s Erasmus+ ICM program.

Since 2025, Lesley has been a member of the editorial board of the Hungarian Journal of Disability Studies and Special Education.
