Anna, BA in Translation (UAB) and PhD in Applied Linguistics (UPF, Barcelona), is a Full Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Leader of Transmedia Catalonia research group and AccessCat director, her research focuses on audiovisual translation and media accessibility. Anna has participated in and led many funded projects on audiovisual translation and media accessibility, and has taken an active role in the organisation of scientific events such as the Media for All conference or the Advanced Research Audio Description Seminar. Anna has a strong interest in knowledge transfer activities such as standardisation.
Since 2025, Anna has been a member of the editorial board of the Hungarian Journal of Disability Studies and Special Education. |
