Anikó is a special education teacher and economist, assistant professor and vice head of the Institute for Disability and Social Participation. She defended her doctoral dissertation in 2019, on the topic of self-determination for people with high support needs. Her research projects are related to participatory teaching, participatory research, and user involvement in social innovation. She is the co-leader of the Disability Studies Doctoral Workshop and co-founder of the Disability Studies and Social Innovation Lab.
Anikó has been a member of the editorial board of the Hungarian Journal of Disability Studies and Special Education since 2013.
