She earned her habilitation in Communication Science (2006, P\u00e9cs) and her PhD in Comparative Educational Science (2001, Leipzig). For eight years, she worked in facilities for individuals with intellectual, communicative, and complex disabilities. For approx. ten years, Andrea taught and conducted research at ELTE E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University in Budapest.
