Gy\u00f6rgy is an emeritus professor of Disability Studies at the ELTE E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University, Budapest. He obtained his DSc (1998) and PhD (CSc: 1988) in sociology from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. His current research covers a range of problems of (Critical) Disability Studies such as the history of disability theory and history of disability.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gy\u00f6rgy was the founder and the first lead editor of the Hungarian Journal of Disability Studies and Special Education between 2008 \u2013 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
